Mariah: Don’t Bury The King of Strong Style!

It is no question that Nakamura is main event material. We’ve seen him in NJPW, NXT and now on Smackdown Live! He made such an incredible impact in NXT that he left fans day dreaming of his main roster debut.

It wasn’t a question asking “if” he was coming up, it was simply “when”. I was lucky enough to be there live at his debut at Smackdown Live after Wrestlemania 33. Seeing Nak is not like watching your typical Raw or Smackdown every week. His connection with us fans is unreal. Hearing 20,000+ people sing his theme song (I know you all just sang it to yourselves), seeing him hit the ropes, being there with thousands of fans who are feeling that same electricity that you are feeling is truly what keeps us coming back every week.

His first main roster PPV (and win) against Dolph Ziggler was one of the best, if not the best match of the entire night. A feud with Dolph isn’t helping his career on the main roster though.

In my opinion, Ziggler either needs a new gimmick or he’s never going to be where he was just a few short years ago. (I’m already over the greaser look, slick back hair persona.)

We have seen superstars come up on the main roster just to be used as even less than a mid-card superstar. It has happened before, a few examples: Neville, Tyler Breeze, The Ascension, Sami Zayn, etc.

WE CAN’T LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN. If it means winning at MITB or starting a new feud, then I say do it. We need a legit build up for Shinsuke Nakamura and we need it now.
